innocent voices

el salvador has an interesting history.

we watched a very powerful movie, voces inocentes (innocent voices) about the conflicts in el salvador and what families went through during the war. i would highly recommend it.

there were thousands of people that were massacred throughout the years of the war. an incredibly destructive history, but an active and driven country nonetheless.
